Breezers Fishing was established in 2004, when the previous owners saw the need for a specialized tackle shop in one of the top fishing areas in the Garden Route, Knysna.

With Knysna having one of the best estuaries to fish on in South Africa as well as some of the best reefs for bottom fishing in the Southern Cape, Breezers Fishing was founded to fill the Gap in the market for a one stop tackle shop.

Breezers fishing are run by the owner, Gerrie Barnard and the manager, Poena Bruwer and assistant Gerhard Barnard. All these guys are avid fisherman and Protea LTB Anglers, who will always be able to point in the right direction and give you the best advice from their personal experiences being it with Light Tackle Fishing, Deep Sea, Estuary based fishing and Rock and Surf fishing. The team really knows their products and will always help out novice fisherman with purchasing the right tackle first time round.

Breezers fishing are more than just a tackle shop, it is a place where fishing enthusiasts can come and shop for the right tackle at very competitive prices, or even come and sit and chat away to the guys who are passionate about fishing.
